BBC ONE RETURNS TO PARADISE
We're excited to announce the BBC has comissioned another sun-soaked series of our ratings smash drama, Death In Paradise.

Our hit primetime crime drama, Death In Paradise has been greenlit for a sixth series by Charlotte Moore, Controller of BBC One and Poly Hill, Controller of BBC Drama Commissioning, following the continued ratings success of the latest series.

The fifth series, which concludes its eight-week run on Thursday 25th February, launced in January with the first episode pulling in consolidated figures of 8.7m viewers and a 31 per cent share. This series has continued to be popular with viewers, consolidating at 8.1m and a 29 per cent share, cementing its position as one of BBC One's highest rating dramas.

Filmed on the French island of Guadeloupe, each episode of the winter warmer follows Saint Marie's crime fighting team as they solve the island's most complex and mysterious murder cases, joined by an impressive line-up of guest stars.

The sixth series of the hugely popular 8x60 drama will see the return of the bumbling but brilliant DI Humphrey Goodman, played by Kris Marshall, along with the Honoré Police Team.
