Tim is Executive Producer of Death in Paradise, and also works across Development. His producing credits include Emmerdale, Brookside, The Bill and Waterloo Road, as well as Death in Paradise and By Any Means for Red Planet Pictures.
Garry worked as a carpenter until he became Tony’s PA in 1999. Garry has now been with Red Planet since it formed in 2007, and is now the office manager.
Alex has been part of the Red Planet team since its first production in 2007. He started his career at Thames Television over 18 years ago where he cut his teeth on long running drama and soap.
After reading English at Oxford University, Harriet spent five years working in theatre production, firstly at the Barbican and then at ATG whilst also reading for Working Title, Carnival Films and the BBC. She joined Red Planet's development team in 2016 and works across a number of projects on their slate. Harriet is also a writer and was appointed a London Laureate in 2016, and is the co-founder of Toast, a writer development organisation backed by Arts Council England. She is a Broadcast Hot Shot 2017.
Alongside development work, James is a story consultant and writer on Death In Paradise. He has previously worked as a Script/Story Producer on the show. Prior to that James has script/story edited, written and produced on shows including Eastenders, The Bill and Holby City.
Julie has worked in the accountancy profession for 30 years, 20 of which were as Tony's personal accountant before joining Red Planet Pictures as Head of Finance.
Alex started out as a freelancer working in production. He joined Company Pictures in 2008, where he spent 5 years as in house Production Manager. He left Company in 2013 to help establish Little Island Productions, before moving to Red Planet as Head of Production.
Belinda joined Red Planet Pictures in 2011 as Executive Producer before becoming Head of Drama and most recently Joint Managing Director. Belinda has been executive producer on Red Planet's acclaimed drama content since joining the company – from the tentpole dramas The Passing Bells and The Ark to, the ratings smash hit Death in Paradise and, most recently, the critically acclaimed 20-part series Dickensian. She oversees all of Red Planet Pictures drama development and productions.
Market trader turned award-winning writer, Tony Jordan has run or created some of the most iconic shows on British drama (EastEnders, Life on Mars and Hustle for starters). He now combines a packed writing schedule with driving the expansion of the indy he created in his own image – Red Planet Pictures.
Debbie previously worked as Team Manager at T-Mobile for 9 years then moved onto the Metropolitan Police where she was a PA to Senior Management for 7 years. She joined the Red Planet Team in 2014 and worked as Accounts Assistant. Debbie now works as PA to CEO Tony Jordan and Finance Director, Julie Gissing.
Missy joined Red Planet after working as a runner for Thames Television, Production Secretary for Phil McIntyre Television and a reader for Big Talk Productions. She also runs a new writing theatre company, Deadpan Theatre.
Matt has spent the last eleven years working in various roles within the accounts department of Company Pictures and has enjoyed working on many of the shows the company has produced. He started at Red Planet Pictures earlier this year as Finance Manager.
Fiona previously worked at Greene Light Stage (formerly Old Vic Productions). Prior to this, Fiona worked as an assistant to Sally Greene (CEO The Old Vic Theatre, Greene Light Stage, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Greene Light Films). Fiona now works as PA to joint Managing Directors Belinda Campbell and Alex Jones.
Isaac worked in various roles in Film and TV for the likes of Warp Films and Picturehouse Cinemas before joining the Red Planet team in August 2017. He is also a co-writer/director with Footprint Theatre.
Sarah joined the development team after working for Scott Free London. She started her career in tv as a researcher on factual dramas including Dunkirk and The Promise. Script editing for EastEnders followed, after which she developed a wide range of shows at the BBC where credits included Lark Rise to Candleford, Oliver Twist, Five Days II, Good Cop and The Crimson Field.
Rowan spent over a decade working in factual television developing, producing and directing for the BBC, Betty and Raw TV. At Raw she worked across a slate of developments for AMC and CNN. Bitten by the drama bug, Rowan worked on projects with eOne, Heyday and 42 before joining Red Planet’s development team in 2017.
Tapuwa previously worked for factual entertainment and drama production companies like Kudos, Princess Productions and Zeppotron in various Production runner roles. He joined Red Planet Pictures in April 2018 and in his spare time, he directs music videos and photography.
Michelle joined Red Planet from BBC Wales where she was Head of Development. Prior to this she worked at Wall to Wall Media, Talkback Thames and Company Pictures, where she was associate producer and script editor on SHAMELESS. Michelle is also an author, and her international best-seller THE GIRLFRIEND was published in 2017.
