Tim is Executive Producer of DEATH IN PARADISE, and also works across Development. His producing credits include EMMERDALE, BROOKSIDE, THE BILL and WATERLOO ROAD, as well as DEATH IN PARADISE and BY ANY MEANS for Red Planet Pictures.
Garry worked as a carpenter until he became Tony’s PA in 1999. Garry has now been with Red Planet since it formed in 2007, and is now the office manager.
Alex is Joint Managing Director of Red Planet Pictures alongside Belinda Campbell and has been part of the team since its first production back in 2007. Initially working in production, he started his career at Thames Television almost 20 years ago where he cut his teeth on long running drama and soap. Alex is instrumental in overseeing all of the company’s output and manages the negotiations for major co-production deals with multiple partners across the world - most notably, for ratings smash DEATH IN PARADISE, which has sold into over 220 territories globally. Currently airing series nine on BBC One to over eight million viewers a week, the sun-soaked crime drama is about to go into production on series 10 and celebrate its 10-year anniversary. An active spokesperson within the television industry, Alex holds positions at PACT and ScreenSkills HETV, sitting on the councils for both.
Alongside development work, James is a story consultant and writer on DEATH IN PARADISE. He has previously worked as a Script/Story Producer on the show. Prior to that James has script/story edited, written and produced on shows including EASTENDERS, THE BILL and HOLBY CITY.
Julie has worked in the accountancy profession for 30 years, 20 of which were as Tony's personal accountant before joining Red Planet Pictures as Head of Finance.
Belinda joined Red Planet Pictures in 2011 as an Executive Producer and is now Joint Managing Director, alongside Alex Jones. Prior to that she worked at the BBC where she oversaw CASUALTY and HOLBY CITY. Belinda oversees development and Exec Produces all of Red Planet Pictures’ drama content, most recently for Jane Austen’s SANDITON, a bold and exciting drama written by Andrew Davies for ITV and Masterpiece in the US. Other credits include Sky One action-adventure series HOOTEN AND THE LADY, the critically acclaimed 20-part series DICKENSIAN, THE ARK, THE PASSING BELLS, all for BBC One. Belinda also set up the ratings smash and sun-soaked hit crime drama DEATH IN PARADISE, which is currently airing series nine on BBC One and about to go into production on series 10.
Market trader turned award-winning writer, Tony Jordan has run or created some of the most iconic shows on British drama (EASTENDERS, LIFE ON MARS and HUSTLE for starters). He now combines a packed writing schedule with driving the expansion of the indie he created in his own image – Red Planet Pictures.
Debbie previously worked as Team Manager at T-Mobile for 9 years then moved onto the Metropolitan Police where she was a PA to Senior Management for 7 years. She joined the Red Planet Team in 2014 and worked as Accounts Assistant. Debbie now works as PA to CEO Tony Jordan and Finance Director, Julie Gissing.
Missy joined Red Planet in 2016 after working in production for Thames Television, Phil McIntyre Television and as a reader for Big Talk Productions. She develops and script edits a range of projects for Red Planet from very new to established talent.
Matt has spent the last eleven years working in various roles within the accounts department of Company Pictures and has enjoyed working on many of the shows the company has produced. He now works as Finance Manager at Red Planet Pictures.
Fiona previously worked at Greene Light Stage (formerly Old Vic Productions). Prior to this, Fiona worked as an assistant to Sally Greene (CEO The Old Vic Theatre, Greene Light Stage, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Greene Light Films). Fiona now works as PA to joint Managing Directors Belinda Campbell and Alex Jones.
Isaac worked in various roles in Film and TV for the likes of Warp Films and Picturehouse Cinemas before joining the Red Planet team in August 2017. He is also a co-writer/director with Footprint Theatre.
Sarah joined the development team after working for Scott Free London. She started her career in tv as a researcher on factual dramas including DUNKIRK and THE PROMISE. Script editing for EASTENDERS followed, after which she developed a wide range of shows at the BBC where credits included LARK RISE TO CANDLEFORD, OLIVER TWIST, FIVE DAYS II, GOOD COP and THE CRIMSON FIELD.
Rowan spent over a decade working in factual television developing, producing and directing for the BBC, Betty and Raw TV. At Raw she worked across a slate of developments for AMC and CNN. Bitten by the drama bug, Rowan worked on projects with eOne, Heyday and 42 before joining Red Planet’s development team in 2017.
Michelle joined Red Planet from BBC Wales where she was Head of Development. Prior to this she worked at Wall to Wall Media, Talkback Thames and Company Pictures, where she was associate producer and script editor on SHAMELESS. Michelle is also an author, and her international best-seller THE GIRLFRIEND was published in 2017.
Toby started his career in Bristol, working Freelance on AGATHA RAISON, and GALAVANT, before moving in-house at Little Island Productions. During his time there he was credited on a variety of productions including PATRICK MELROSE, THE WHITE PRINCESS, CLOSE TO THE ENEMY and SNATCH, before joining Red Planet Pictures as Production Co-Ordinator in 2019.
Andy worked for ten years as an actor in both Theatre and Television. He then worked as a reader for Sky Drama UK, Bad Wolf Productions and Moonage Pictures before joining Red Planet Pictures as Development Assistant in 2019.
After studying Broadcast Journalism, Frankie worked in local TV and radio before joining Red Planet Pictures as Office Assistant this year. She has also worked at Procam TV, where she co-ordinated kit and crew for productions.
